GIRLS AT PLAY CREEK WEEK

As experienced female paddlers we know what it feels like to be the only woman paddling with a group of guys on steep creeks.  It can be a lot of fun and it can also be intimidating.  That intimidation factor comes from the different ways that men and women deal with challenging situations.  There is scientific evidence that women experience a different stress response than men leading women to seek out strong support systems (especially with other women) when facing challenges.  This is one of the reasons why womens clinics are so powerful in building confidence and why we feel that our creek week is the best way to build your creeking confidence and skills.  Our instructors are the best female creeking instructors in the world and our base in Asheville, NC is close to some of the best class IV creeks in the country.  Join us and challenge yourself in a supportive, understanding environment that will transform your confidence and your skills.
