Advanced Whitewater


New in 2012 we’re offering a 4-day advanced whitewater kayaking clinic. Becoming an advanced paddler requires experience and skills in both river running and playboating. This course is designed to develop your paddling ability so that you feel comfortable paddling any type of water and dealing with a variety of whitewater situations. We’ll paddle both low volume rivers as well as bigger volume whitewater. Skills we cover include: front surfing, side surfing, spinning, getting in and out of holes, running big water, running low volume rivers, precision river reading, precision eddy turns, ferries and peel outs, boofing and basic river safety.

Cost: $550.00

Price includes exceptional instruction and lunch.

Requirements: To take this course you must be willing to try new things, feel comfortable and confident in class III whitewater and have at least a 70% success rate with your roll in whitewater.

Cancellation Policy:  A 50% deposit is required to book your spot. The balance is due the first day of the class. 25% of the deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel before 14 days before the trip you’ll receive refund of your deposit minus the 25%. If you cancel within 13 – 0 days before the course your deposit is non-refundable. At that time credit for a future or different program may be offered.
